When to combine images into a PDF
A PDF is easier to send, print, and archive than a folder of images, and many forms accept PDFs but not several image files. Common cases are receipts, signed pages photographed with a phone, and screenshots for a report.
Create the PDF
Open Images to PDF, add your images, put them in order with the arrows, and choose a page size. Match each image makes every page the size of its image; A4 and US Letter fit each image onto a standard page, switching to landscape for wide images. Choose a margin if you want white space around the image.
The conversion runs in your browser and does not upload your images.
How images are embedded
Browsers apply the photo orientation stored in a JPEG before Pixuna draws it, so phone photos should appear upright. JPEG images are re-encoded at high quality, and other formats are embedded as PNG. Animated GIFs use their first frame.
Formats your browser cannot decode, which includes HEIC in many browsers, are rejected with a message. Convert them with the Image Converter first.
Keeping the file small
Large camera photos create large PDFs. Resize or compress images before combining, or run the finished PDF through the Compress PDF tool and check the result.
