One PDF. If the result is not smaller, the original is returned.

How to use Compress PDF

  1. Choose a PDF.
  2. Pick Re-save only to keep text and quality, or Flatten pages to images for a bigger reduction on image-heavy files.
  3. Select Compress PDF. If the result is not smaller, the original is returned unchanged.

What to know

Re-saving often changes little, because most PDF size comes from embedded images and fonts that are left untouched.

Flattening renders each page as a JPEG. This can shrink scans and photo-heavy files, but text stops being selectable or searchable, and links and form fields are lost.

A smaller file is not guaranteed. Pixuna does not target a specific size.

File handling: This tool runs in your browser. Your PDF is read and processed in the tab on your device, and Pixuna's code does not upload it to a server. You can confirm this in your browser's network panel.
